Ella Leah (Wheeler) Miller

Ella Leah Miller, 85, of South Sioux City passed away Friday, August 22, 2014, at a Sioux City hospital.
Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Monday in Memorial Park Cemetery in Sioux City, with the Rev. David Smith officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Mohr Funeral Home in South Sioux City.
Ella Leah was born in rural Allen, NE, on December 14, 1928, the daughter of Everette and Katie (Conrad) Wheeler. She graduated from Allen High School as valedictorian of the Class of 1946. Ella Leah married Marvin Miller on February 8, 1952, at First Lutheran Church in South Sioux City. The couple lived in South Sioux city, where they raised three children.
Ella Leah was a beautiful seamstress. She also enjoyed gardening and bird watching. She took very good care of her family, and enjoyed spending time with them.
Survivors include her husband, Marvin Miller; children, Terry Miller, Kay Miller and Jeffrey (Deborah) Miller; grandchildren, Sabrina Goodon, Odessa Cooley, Lacey Cooley, Todd Kopplin, Scotlyn Miller and Katelin Miller; two great-grandchildren, JD Cooley and RyAnna Whitney; one brother, Norman (Louise) Wheeler; and several nieces and nephews.
Ella Leah was preceded in death by her parents, Everette and Katie Wheeler; and sister-in-law, Edna Wheeler.
